Farm to School SIte Visits

The USDA Farm to School (F2S) Tactical Team has created an opportunity to be selected for a visit. Nine sites will be selected by completing the visit request form located at www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/F2S/email.htm. Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is seeing a wide variety of districts for these visits, not just ones with established F2S programs. Some of the variables being considered include: regional representation; rural, urban, suburban and tribal schools; large and small SFAs; self-operating, vended meals and food service management company; various distribution models; different stages of Farm to School implementation, and schools practicing new or novel ideas that help to implement Farm to School efforts. Please take the time to complete the form as this is a great opportunity.
