This team is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring, and the statewide assessment system which includes: NHEIAP (New Hampshire Educational Assessment and Improvement Program), NECAP (New England Common Assessment Program, NHEIAP Alternate Assessment and NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress).

Curriculum and Assessment is also responsible for the development and revision of the content area standards (New Hampshire Curriculum Frameworks) and provides technical assistance to schools in the area of curriculum. They also provide content expertise throughout the Department.
