College
Tech Prep and New Hampshire Career Pathways
The
New Hampshire Department of Education, with Tech Prep
funding, has developed and implemented career clusters
and pathways in our high schools to inspire students
to look at their futures and to continued education
beyond high school. Administrators, teachers and guidance
counselors are reporting that students are experiencing
more success in school by participating in a career
cluster model program.
Below
you will find links to the many models that have been
developed for NH high schools. The career clusters have
strong industry and postsecondary partnerships to support
sustainability.
Each
Career Cluster has a promotional fact sheet with an
overview of how the program has been developed in NH
schools, and a career planning outline that can be used
to assist students in bundling courses to best prepare
them for a given career cluster.
Each
cluster has a consultant that is ready to provide NH
schools with free technical assistance and help you
develop a program that meets your needs. Contact names
and phone numbers can be found on each fact sheet.
Some
of the following files are in PDF, please download Adobe
Reader to view. Many documents below are in Microsoft
Word so that they can be downloaded and edited to meet
the needs of your school.
