Welcome to NH Vocational Rehabilitation (NHVR)!

NHVR provides services to both Individuals with Disabilities and Employers.

People with disabilities can work and take advantage of the opportunities available to the citizens of New Hampshire. Yet they face barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals. Vocational Rehabilitation assists persons with disabilities to achieve their employment goals.

Vocational Rehabilitation is a joint State/Federal program that seeks to empower people to make informed choices, build viable careers, and live more independently in the community.  To that end, NH Vocational Rehabilitation supports the following programs and priorities:

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

 

Public Forums will be held in Berlin, Concord, Keene, Manchester, and Nashua, to receive comments and testimony from interested citizens about programs, services and methodologies to be included in the State Plan for Vocational Rehabilitation. If you are unable to attend one of the forums, Ella McAllister will be available to receive telephone comments at 1-800-299-1647 (v/tty) or written comments may be sent to Ms. McAllister at Vocational Rehabilitation, 21 South Fruit Street, Suite 20, Concord NH 03301-2428 prior to 4:00 p.m. February 12, 2010.  (E-mail address: emcallister@ed.state.nh.us)

Berlin:  January 26, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Berlin Regional Office, 3 Twelfth Street, Unit A, Berlin, NH

 

Concord: January 20, 2010 from 2:00 p.m.– 3:00 p.m. Concord Regional Office, 2 Industrial Park Drive, Bldg 2, Concord, NH

 

Keene: February 4, 2010 from 10:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m.  Keene Public Library - Auditorium, Winter Street, Keene  NH  03431

 

Manchester: January 21, 2010 from 9:00 a.m.– 10:00 a.m.  Manchester Regional Office, Mill West Corporate Center, 195 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH.  

 

Nashua: February 2, 2010 from 3:00 p.m.– 4:00 p.m. Nashua Public Library, East Wing,  2 Court Street, Nashua, NH 03060
